Precision Property Inspections started eight years ago after our founder, Marcus Chen, watched his sister nearly buy a home with serious foundation issues that a rushed inspector completely missed. Marcus had spent fifteen years as a structural engineer and could see problems the inspector either didn’t notice or didn’t understand.
Marcus got certified and started the company, but he didn’t want to be a one-person operation. He built a team that could bring real depth of expertise. Sarah Williams brings construction management experience from working with a large Dallas builder. David Rodriguez brings twenty years as a licensed electrician and HVAC contractor.
Between the three of us, we’ve got structural engineering, construction management, and electrical/mechanical expertise. Most solo inspectors are competent generalists, but they’re not specialists across all the major systems. We are. That makes a real difference in what we catch, what we understand, and how we explain it to clients.
Our team has been serving the North Texas area since 2016, conducting thousands of inspections across Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, and surrounding communities. We understand the specific challenges of North Texas construction—expansive clay soil, extreme heat impacts on systems, and the quality variations that come with boom-time building.
